Mobile marketing for the game Beetle Match: Match 3

Prime Games Studio, a small game studio from Kazan

Situation:
The team had no analytics, no monetisation set up and no understanding of how to enter a competitive market.

Objectives:
  • To bring the game to payback.
  • Make the project attractive to investors.


What we did:
  • Made integrations that generate revenue from both advertising and in-app purchases.
  • We connected free mobile analytics from AppMetrica. To analyse user behaviour, we set up game events and level funnel.
  • Connected the best mobile attribution on the market - Appsflyer. Collected the first metrics.
  • We set up monetisation in Unity. Gave recommendations on how to set up a waterfall - a list of advertising networks where you can promote the app. Prepared creatives for adverts.
  • Made test purchases in Facebook and Unity ad networks. Collected the first purchase metrics.
  • Analysed monetisation and ROI.

Results:
Raised ROI from 20% to 50%. Continuing to work on growing it.
We reached the first round of investment.
